Where to Use
Shortgrass Prairie Wildflower Seed Mix is drought tolerant. It’s perfect to grow your own shortgrass prairie landscape and can be used with the Shortgrass Prairie Grasses seed mix. Also use with a native grass mix for your region below 6000 feet altitude for a meadow effect. Use to bring native pollinators and wildlife to your project.
Components of the mix:
Black-Eyed Susan, Butterfly Milkweed, Dwarf Evening Primrose, Golden Alexander, Hoary Vervain, Indian Blanket, Lavender Hyssop, Lance-Leaved Coreopsis, Narrow-Leaf Purple Coneflower, Nodding Pink Onion, Ohio Spiderwort, Plains Coreopsis, Prairie Coneflower, Purple Prairie Clover, Rough Blazingstar and Shell-Leaf Penstemon.
Plant alone at 9-18 lbs/acre, 1 lb per 2000 sq ft . Check rates of other mixes when combining and use recommendations based on your project.
