Team Up to Clean Up got together with the Eufaula Middle School Student Council to plant wildflowers. Bryan Vest caught them in the act and produced the clever video you’ll see below.
Soil preparation, planting, and caring for the flowers all provide good lessons for the kids, helping them develop skills in planning and collaboration and follow through as well as greater understanding of ecology and agriculture.
Holland Wildflower Farm delivered the seeds, and we are proud of the group and eager to see the crop of flowers they’ll enjoy this year and in years to come!
Is it time for your school to consider a service learning project, a science project, or a school or community beautification project? Wildflowers can provide all three.
