This upland wildlife seed mix is best in 6-8 hours of full sun, and average to well-drained or thin soils. Farmers can use this at NRCS-CREP sites (click link for info) and give pollinators, birds and all wildlife habitat in rural farmlands.
Native Seed Mix Contains:
Big Bluestem, Switchgrass, Virginia Wildrye, Indiangrass, Partridge Pea, Blackeyed Susan, Oxeye Sunflower, Showy Ticktrefoil, Plains Coreopsis and Wild Bergamot.
Planting Rate: 20 lb per acre, 1 lb per 2000 sq. ft. Seed from October-May in rich, well-drained soils.
Grows Well In: Midwest, Northeast, Southeast, Oklahoma/Texas, (basically Eastern US, SE Canada).
